When the Walkers approached us with the idea of transforming their formal dining room into a luxurious primary bathroom retreat, we couldn't have been more excited. The vision Callie and Grant had for their new space was incredible. and we were ready to help them bring it to life.
The Centerpiece: A Freestanding Soaking Tub
At the heart of this gorgeous space is a freestanding soaking tub, a symbol of luxury and relaxation. The polished nickel finish fixtures add a touch of sophistication and are complemented by a curved marble backsplash meticulously hand-cut by Grant himself. This personal touch adds a unique and sentimental element to the overall bathroom design.
The Exquisite Walk-In Shower
Situated directly behind the tub, a stunning walk-in shower takes center stage. Adorned with large format marble tiles on the walls, it boasts dual shower heads, an additional ceiling-mounted shower head, and a comfortable bench seat for a spa-like experience. The attention to detail in the design ensures a perfect blend of functionality and elegance.
White Custom Cabinetry & Marble Countertops
Surrounding the central elements, the perimeter of the space features white custom cabinetry with intricate inset details. The white and gray marble countertops and backsplashes, featuring ogee edges, provide a timeless and luxurious feel. A built-in custom vanity adds a touch of tailored luxury to the bathroom space, offering both functionality and a unique focal point, while a corner cabinet, reaching all the way to the ceiling, serves as additional storage space for linens and bathroom necessities, cleverly concealing a strategically placed television for viewing from the soaking tub.
Two deep cabinet drawers, strategically positioned beneath double mirrored cabinet doors, offer an ideal storage solution for organizing towels and laundry. This integration of practical features complements the overall aesthetic, contributing to the functionality and elegance of this primary bathroom built by Pool Brothers.

The bathroom’s design incorporates a thoughtful combination of elements, including hardwood floors, large windows and antique doors that allow natural light to flood the space.
Mixed Metals: Polished Nickel Finishes & Gold Light Fixtures
This high-end bathroom design blends mixed metals to elevate the aesthetic appeal. Gold mirrors and wall sconces bring a touch of grandeur, while a showstopping yet traditional gold chandelier hangs from the high ceiling at the center of the space. Oversized square bar cabinet drawer and door pulls, finished in polished nickel, were chosen to accent the custom cabinets. This meticulous attention to detail ensures a cohesive and high-end look, underscoring the exceptional quality, design, and craftsmanship synonymous with Pool Brothers.
