Ashley and Kemble Teague chose Pool Brothers as their cabinet and flooring contractor for the family’s newly built home in Albany, Georgia. Our Pool Brothers team installed wood flooring throughout the home and tile flooring and tile showers in the bathrooms. Custom cabinetry from Pool Brothers is displayed in the family’s kitchen, bathrooms, laundry room, and mudroom. The inclusion of plants, wood flooring, and wooden seats in this kitchen design introduces elements of biophilia, fostering a connection with nature within the space and creating a harmonious environment that resonates with natural textures and materials.

  • Custom Shiloh cabinetry by Pool Brothers Cabinets + Flooring + Lighting

  • A concealed refrigerator cabinet (hidden refrigerator)

  • A seven-foot, custom-built kitchen island designed to seat six people comfortably

  • The large kitchen island boasts maximum storage with doored cabinets and drawers, as well as ample counter space for meal preparation and cooking.

  • Magnifica Porcelain countertops (color: Calcatta OroMarble) with mitered edges that give a thicker look

  • Villa Borghese Collection engineered wood flooring; Aged French Oak: Color-Casimiro.

ABOUT THE FLOORING

We installed flooring throughout the family’s home, including beautiful new engineered wood flooring (Villa Borghese Collection engineered wood flooring; Aged French Oak: Color-Casimiro) in the main living areas and the family’s kitchen. Tile floors were installed in the bathrooms and laundry room, and carpet in the bedrooms and playroom.

We created a spa-like master bathroom and two children’s bathrooms on the upper level of the new home, as well as a guest bathroom on the main floor.

  • Floor: Marble Natural Stone–Caspian Bisque, 12 x 24 tiles installed on 1/3 brick joint with Alabaster grout

  • Shower Wall: Alaska Matte, 12x24 tiles installed with a straight pattern and Brick White grout

    The Boy’s Bathroom Tile

    Floor: Allora, Grey–GRE, 7 3/8” x 12 ¾” Rhomboid Field Tile (matte). Rhomboid tiles were installed to make a hexagon shape with Platinum #115 grout

    Floor: Allora, 8/12 x 10 Stella HexagonDeco (matte) installed with MapeiFlexcolor#93 Warm Grey grout

    Lighting Fixtures

    Boys Bathroom—Millenium Vanity Light in a Matte Black and Heirloom Bronze finish; installed with globes facing down and centered over the sink
