Before the Bathroom Remodel

About The Renovation

Pool Brothers Cabinets + Lighting + Flooring transformed the primary bathroom in this Albany, Georgia, home into a peaceful oasis the Dunn family will love for years to come.

The Demo
We removed the existing vanity, countertops, and shower door, as well as shoe molding, quarter round, and base molding from the shower to the tub and tub to the corner of the toilet diving wall. We also removed the base that ran along the right side of the vanity and the crown molding along the wall that separated the tub and shower stall. Dated tile from the bathroom floor, around the tub, and in the shower stall was removed, along with the shower stall bathtub, the mirror above the tub and behind the vanity, and all existing bath accessories.

Framing & Trim Work

We cut down the wall that once separated the shower and tub, and we added a frame for a 48’’ knee wall. Additionally, we added the blocking needed for the new shower door and a grab bar. We also installed crown molding, a beautiful new tile shower, and cabinetry, including two new bathroom vanities.

Shower Wall Tile: “Collins,” Timeless Marble CS81; 12 X 24 tiles installed on a 1/3 format in a horizontal direction with 1/8” Raimondi spacers. The grout color is Oyster Gray.
Shower Floor Tile: “Perpetuo,” Timeless White; 1.5’’. The grout is Oyster Gray.

Bathroom Floor Tile
“Collins,” Timeless Marble CS81; 12 X 24 tiles installed on a 1/3 format running parallel in direction with the vanity with 1/8” Raimondi spacers. The grout color is Oyster Gray.

• Delta Faucet Cassidy series faucets, shower trim, towel ring, tissue holder, and grab bar all in a polished nickel finish.

• Frameless shower door (clear glass) in brushed nickel finish.
